Initiative 1433, approved by the citizens of Washington State in 2016, modifies the Minimum Wage Requirements and Labor Standards (RCW 49.46) to include paid sick leave provisions effective January 1, 2018. The parties agree to modify the 2017-2019 Collective Bargaining Agreement to incorporate the changes in the law effective January 1, 2018.
