The Secretary-General was informed on 22 April 2020 that, pursuant to resolution F/BG/2019/05 adopted by the Board of Governors on 12 June 2019, Ireland has fulfilled the conditions established for its accession to the African Development Bank. Accordingly, Ireland became a member of the Bank on 4 March 2020, the date of deposit of its instrument of accession.
