The Settling Parties are seeking written approval of the Settlement Agreement by the Commission by June 10, 2002, so that the rates established in this Agreement may become effective as of the statutory deadline in the proceeding, which is July 1, 2002. The revenue requirement established by this Agreement reflects $4.099 million of annual net merger- related savings that have been, and are projected to be, achieved by the Company in the period October 1, 2000 through June 30, 2005.
