This Falkirk Partnership in Practice Agreement (PiP) for 2007-2010 has been prepared by the Forth Valley Strategic Partnership group in collaboration with the Falkirk Local Action Group (FLAG). The Local Action Group is representative of heath services, local authority services, the voluntary sector, advocacy services, service users and carers. The PiP contains a brief overview of the current structure and the services provided for people with learning disabilities who live in Falkirk, and their carers; it outlines some of the progress that has been made from the Partnership in Practice Agreement set out in 2004-2007. Other sources of reference include the Integrated Childrens Services Plan, the Community Care Plan, the NHS Forth Valley Health Care Strategy and local Health Delivery Plan. The PiP is overseen by the Falkirk Community Health Partnership and Falkirk Council Housing & Social Work Services Committee.
