The Wayne State University Basic Medical Sciences (BMS) Master’s program is designed to provide graduate training for pre-professionals who wish to pursue careers in health-related fields. The interdisciplinary curriculum consists of rigorous coursework in biomedical fields and culminates with a Master’s essay. The program offers an opportunity for students to bolster their academic records in preparation for their next career steps. A majority of students in the program are seeking entry into medical school, which is the incentive for reaching the following agreement with the Wayne State University School of Medicine (WSU- SOM).
