This Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) is entered into between the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) for the purpose of implementing Indiana’s 2022 Monitoring and Notification Program for Beaches in Lake, Porter and La Porte Counties adjacent to Lake Michigan Coastal Recreational Waters (Indiana Lake Michigan Beach Program). IDEM receives funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for this project under the statutory authority of the Beaches Environment Assessment and Coastal Health Act of 2000.
