This document and the commitments contained herein were reached in response to a recommendation of the Conciliation Board, chaired by Mr. Arne Peltz, contained in the Final Report of the Conciliation Board in March of 2020. The recommendation directed the parties to come together to discuss and determine a mechanism to respond to the challenge of classroom complexity and composition and provide immediate supports to both students and teachers to address the issues presented and acknowledged by all parties during the provincial collective bargaining process.
