NONREIMBURSABLE SPACE ACT AGREEMENT BETWEENNonreimbursable Space Act Agreement • April 26th, 2022
This Agreement shall be for the purpose of leveraging Wright Electric and NASA expertise in one (1) to two (2)-megawatt (MW) power electronics for electrified aircraft propulsion (EAP) in order to collaborate on the maturation of promising technologies which address key volumetric and weight requirements in the powertrains of such aircraft. The work includes low TRL development on key software, power electronics and devices within the electronics circuit boards with the goal of achieving safe, lighter weight and lower volume prototypes. NASA and Partner will benefit by collectively raising the TRL level of these technologies, and by being provided specific case examples to help determine feasibility for a viable, certifiable product for commercial planes in the airspace.
