This Agreement is entered into in the State of California, by and between the County of Monterey, a political subdivision of the State of California, hereinafter referred to as "COUNTY," and SUNRISE HOUSE, a voluntary health and welfare agency exempt from Federal taxation under Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c) (3), hereinafter referred to as "CONTRACTOR", for the purpose of providing alcohol and drug recovery services in Monterey County.
