In recognition of the special relationship that exists between Gardner-Webb University and the public school systems that provide clinical experiences in preparing educators who are knowledgeable theorists and skilled practitioners, the following agreement seeks to clarify the responsibilities of each party. Clinical experiences are a major component of the curriculum and should be appropriately planned, supervised, and evaluated by qualified persons from the University, hereinafter referred to as the University Supervisor/Coach, and by qualified persons from the local public school system, hereinafter referred to as the Clinical Educator(s).
