SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND CMC TRAINING AND CONSULTING THIS AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT, entered into this day of , 20 , by and between the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, hereinafter called "County," and , hereinafter called "Contractor"; W I T N E S S E T H: WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code, Section 31000, County may contract with independent contractors for the furnishing of such services to or for County or any Department thereof; WHEREAS, the parties entered into an Agreement for professional services on October 21, 2008, and WHEREAS, the parties entered an Amendment to the Agreement on July 7, 2009, to increase the maximum amount by $300,000 to a new maximum of $588,000 (hereinafter referred to as the "First Amendment"); and WHEREAS, the parties wish to extend the term through June 30, 2011 and increase the maximum amount by $242,000 to a new maximum of $830,000: NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED BY THE PARTIES HERETO AS FOLLOWS: 1.‌ Paragraph 3
