THIS SEPARATION AGREEMENT AND GENERAL RELEASE (“Agreement”) is made and entered into on September 12, 2007, by and between Barry C. Cooper (hereinafter “Cooper” or “you” or “your”), a Missouri resident, and The Laclede Group, Inc.; and its current and former agents; officers; employees; directors; divisions; subsidiaries, including but not limited to those entities listed on Appendix A; affiliates; representatives; attorneys; successors and assigns (hereinafter collectively “Laclede”).
