The Civil Service Commission ("The Commission") and the Government Officers' Association Branch of IPMS ("The Association") are agreed that there is a need to provide a clear framework of procedures to be followed in the event that staff surpluses are likely to occur within the Isle of Man Civil Service so that appropriate measures can be taken through joint consultation to avoid or minimise redundancies being declared.
