The King County Homeless Management Information System (“HMIS”) is a shared database and software application that confidentially collects, uses, and shares clientlevel information related to homelessness in King County. On behalf of the Seattle/King County Continuum of Care (“CoC”), HMIS is administered by King County (“County”) in a software application called Clarity Human Services (“Clarity”), a product of Bitfocus, Inc. (“Bitfocus”). The County has also contracted with Bitfocus to serve as the System Administrator for the HMIS.
