In accordance with MEA Tariff (Section 4.02 and 4.03), a temporary service should be used for construction purposes only. An Applicant requesting temporary service must contact MEA to acquire permanent service for the site within nine (9) months of the temporary service being energized. Failure to comply with the Temporary Service Agreement will result in additional costs and/or disconnected service.
