This Contract is made between the State of New Jersey and Local No. 195, the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers, AFL-CIO, covering all employees in the Operations, Maintenance and Services and Crafts Unit; and Local No. 195, the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers, AFL-CIO, and Local No. 518, New Jersey State Motor Vehicle Employees Union, SEIU, CTW, CLC, covering all employees in the Inspection and Security Unit. This Contract has as its purpose the promotion of harmonious employee relations between the State and its employees represented by the Union; the establishment of equitable and peaceful procedures for the amicable resolution of all disputes and grievances; and the determination of the wages, hours of work and other terms and conditions of employment. Further, the State and the Union agree that the working environment should be characterized by mutual respect for the common dignity to which all individuals are entitled
