This project plans to meet 40 percent of the campus electricity requirement with emissions-free photovoltaic solar power, to reduce the campus's peak load, optimize energy use, provide supportservices to the surrounding grid, and create a highly resilient power system by allowing the campus to provide emergency services in the event of an outage in the surrounding grid.
