Do not assume that conflicts with competition law are excluded simply by the fact that the Consortium complies with the provisions of the REACH. Consultation in Matters of Competition LawAn in-house legal expert or the company compliance officer or an external legal counsel should be consulted whenever there are uncertainties relating to compliance with competition law.All Consortium meetings/discussions which are not in compliance with the Code of Conduct shall be stopped until a legal expert is involved. Do not assume that the Code of Conduct deals with all competition law issues exhaustively. Essentially, compliance with Articles 101 and102 can be determined only on the basis of market impact in each individual case.
