IN CONSIDERATION of the application made by CITY OF STOCKTON, referred to in this Contract as “the Contractholder,” and IN CONSIDERATION of payments by the Contractholder as stated in Article 3, Delta Dental agrees to provide the Benefits in Article 4 for a period of one year, beginning at 12:01 a.m., Standard Time, on the Effective Date, January 1, 2009, and continuing from year to year thereafter, unless this Contract is terminated in accordance with Article 9.
