Autonomous Vehicle Community Engagement Initiative The AV Knight Initiative is a three-year project to engage the community in helping to define how automated vehicles and other emerging mobility could be used to advance the City’s transportation and climate goals. The purpose of this grant agreement is to pay project partner, Veggielution a maximum of $5,000 to promote and organize robot demonstration events, recruit and provide incentives to residents who participate in the pilot, arrange and pay for interpretation services, and assemble vegetable boxes and dry/pantry food staples for delivery by the robot. in support of the City’s AV Community Engagement Initiative. The Knight Foundation’s award to the City is funding this pilot program. The Knight Foundation has authorized the use of these funds for this purpose
