The County of Santa Cruz entered into a contract with the Children’s Center of San Lorenzo Valley on August 1, 2000 to provide for building renovations including repair of the roof. The renovation took longer than planned and the contract has since expired. The balance of funding is still available and encumbered in contract Repairs have now been completed and the Children’s Center requires reimbursement for the final payment in the agreement. A contract amendment is required to extend the agreement through June 30, 2004 in order to make the final payment.
