The overarching objective of this opportunity is the development and implementation of chemical analysis of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). (1) Act as analytical contact for chemical analysis of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in environmental/experimental samples (2) Analyze approximately 500 aqueous samples for the PFAS using solid-phase extraction liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry (SPE-LC-MS/MS) and (3) Employ quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) protocols during analysis, including analysis of triplicate samples, inclusion of blanks and quality controls, and use of mass-labeled internal standards, and report these details in the analytical confirmation white paper.
