The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Burkina Faso and has the honour to acknowledge receipt of its note verbale No. 97–272/MAET/SG/DGAPJC/AJC of 19 March 1997 conveying the agreement of the Government of Burkina Faso that the basic Agreement concluded on 19 July 1976 between Burkina Faso and UNDP should apply, mutatis mutandis, to UNFPA.
