The interinstitutional agreement (model iia) was originally developed in 2013 by a large group of research institutes to create a model as a common starting point for the Iia negotiations. the project work group revoked in 2015 to review the iia model and to urge additional users. over 40 institutions participated in the process and over 30 confirmed their willingness to use the iia model as a starting point for negotiations. the project is an open effort and we hope that your institution will consider participating if you are not already. iia model (last revised 2015) is complete and ready to go! please consider using today. a new team has now convened to put together a model agreement for copyright-based software. see the new page "other documents" for additional useful resources. for more information about the model project, fill out the comment form on this page or contact one of the task force members.
