AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND THE COUNTY SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS THIS AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT, entered into this day of , 20 , by and between the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, hereinafter called "County," and the San Mateo County Superintendent of Schools, hereinafter called "Contractor"; W I T N E S S E T H: WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code, Section 31000, County may contract with independent contractors for the furnishing of such services to or for County or any Department thereof; WHEREAS, the parties entered into an Agreement to provide after-school academic program grants on September 16, 2007 with resolution number 069689; and WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the Agreement to increase funding by $300,000 and extend the term by 12 months from July 1, 2007 through December 31, 2010. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED BY THE PARTIES HERETO AS FOLLOWS: 1. Section II of the Agreement: County’s Responsibilities, is hereby amended to read as follows:
