AARP Foundation is pleased to offer City of Tempe (the “Grantee”) a grant up to $34,997.00 for “City of Tempe” a project that Tempe AARP Foundation Experience Corps proposes to have afterschool tutoring in three City of Tempe Community Centers. Two of the centers contain Boys and Girls Club afterschool programming and one center operates afterschool programming as a city function. Additionally, the three community centers contain senior centers with programming and activities for adults 50+. All three centers are located in north Tempe and served by the Tempe Elementary School District. Partners include the City of Tempe (host agency of AARP Foundation Experience Corps) and the Boys and Girls Club of the East Valley. A letter of commitment from the Boys and Girls Club is attached.
