This Joint Powers Agreement (“Agreement” or “JPA”) is made on the undersigned dates of October and November, 2010, pursuant to the New Mexico Joint Powers Agreement Act, NMSA 1978, Sections 11-1-1 et seq. (as amended), by and between the Board of Rio Arriba County Commissioners of Rio Arriba County, New Mexico (hereinafter referred to as "Rio Arriba County" or “RAC”), a political subdivision of the State of New Mexico, and La Acequia De La Canada Ancha (hereinafter referred to as the “Acequia Canada Ancha " or “ACA”), a political subdivision of the State of New Mexico, subject to Chapters 73 and 73, NMSA 1978.
