By participating in the Comp Alliance, you are pooling your resources with other municipalities in New York State to obtain workers’ compensation coverage for your employees, leading to lower administrative costs, diligent claims management and loss control services specifically tailored to the unique risks faced by municipalities. As a member of the Comp Alliance, there are certain legal responsibilities that you must be aware of and which remain enforceable even in the event of withdrawal from the Comp Alliance.
