The purpose of the agreement is to provide an orderly collective bargaining relationship between the Company and the Union with respect to the bargaining unit as defined herein, to secure and promote the prompt disposition of grievances and the efficient operation of the Company's business. The agreement shall be regarded as a complete and full statement of the relationship between the Company and the Union. No amendment, qualification, change, interpretation or alteration shall be effective unless it is made in writing and signed by duly authorized representatives of the parties.
