You are retaining Ronald Johnston and Johnston Family Law to advise you in connection with your Collaborative Law process in which you and your spouse (or partner) each have counterpart attorneys, each with a shared commitment to resolve disputes without resorting to litigation. The process entails a series of conversations with the goal of settling all issues, and where all agree to adhere to principles such as honesty and mutual respect. The purpose of this letter is to describe our agreement and its effects.
