THIS EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT (hereinafter called this “Agreement”) is entered into effective as of October 5, 1998 (the “Effective Date”), by and between MARINER ENERGY, INC. (hereinafter called “Company”) and C. Ken Burgess (hereinafter called “Employee”).
