The City of Walnut Creek, a California Municipal corporation (“Client”) hereby grants to Cornish & Carey Commercial, a California corporation doing business as Newmark Cornish & Carey (“NC&C”), the exclusive right to negotiate a lease or leases with respect to all or any portion of the real property described below (the “Property”) for a period commencing on December 1, 2017 and ending at 11:59 p.m. on November 30, 2018 (the “Listing Period”), unless this “California Exclusive Agreement of Lease” (the “Agreement”) is extended in a writing signed by both Client and NC&C.
