This Material and Data Transfer Agreement (MDTA) is used by Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) to supply biospecimens and associated data to research organisations. The Requested Material is collectively referred to as "Material". Material is supplied in accordance with a formal request (via email or in writing) submitted by the research organisation. The Request sets out, amongst other things, the specified purpose for which the Requested Material is sought and the HREC (or equivalent) approval for this purpose. Material is only supplied with Participant (patient) consent. NSLHD retains ownership in any Original Material supplied to ensure that the Original Material can be dealt with in accordance with the Participants’ (patients’) consent, which may change from time to time. NSLHD retains the intellectual property rights in the Original Material (and "Material") so that it is free to provide it to other persons. NSLHD does not own Modifications of the Original Material and
