In May 2019, the City approved a lease agreement for 17.76 acres that it owns at the Southeast corner of Caton Farm Road and I-55 Frontage Road (see attached map). The lessee, B.J. Udelhofen, is a local businessmen and farmer who farmed soybeans on the subject property this past season. Mr. Udelhofen now wants to farm the land again for the 2020 season.
