This Agreement is made effective this 1st day of November, 2016, between the California Labor Federation, AFL-CIO, (hereinafter referred to as "Employer" or “Federation”), a non-profit organization, and Teamsters Local 853, and the Pacific Media Workers Guild Local 39521 (hereinafter referred to as "Union" or “Guild”) as Joint Representatives of the employee bargaining unit described in Article I of this Agreement. The parties to this Agreement acknowledge that Local 853 has delegated all representational rights and duties arising under law and/or this agreement to the Pacific Media Workers Guild, Local 39521 chartered by The NewsGuild-Communications Workers of America, AFL-CIO, CLC for itself and on behalf of all the employees described in Article I.
