Theses are public documents. If a thesis contains information that the commissioning party considers confidential, it should be contained in background material that is kept separate from the actual thesis. The background material shall be kept on file by the HAMK degree programme for 6 months after the thesis has been assessed, after which it shall be destroyed unless otherwise agreed with the commissioning party. Copyrights shall be subject to a specific written agreement.
