Science is a hands-on laboratory class. Students will be doing many activities, which require the use of hazardous chemicals and many different types of equipment. Safety in the science classroom is the #1 priority for students, teachers, and parents. To ensure a safe classroom, a list of rules has been developed and provided to you in this student lab safety contract. These rules must be followed at all times. This copy must be signed by both parent and student then returned to the science teacher before students can participate in the laboratory. Students are responsible for understanding ALL rules on the contract.
