Belmont Central will be piloting a BYOD program where students may bring their own computing devices to school. The purpose of the pilot is to investigate the educational benefit of allowing students to bring in and use their own technology in class. Their own technology could include laptops, notebooks, netbook computers, tablets, ereaders with internet capabilities, iPads, and iPod touches. This is voluntary; students do not have to bring their device to school. Other arrangements will be made for students without devices to experience the lesson in the classroom.
