In June 26, 1996, within the framework of European Directive No. 94/45 of September 22, 1994, the Group and labour representatives entered into a preliminary agreement establishing the AXA Group European Works Council (hereinafter known as the G.E.W.C). The agreement was amended on January 14, 1998, extended on April 12, 1999 and June 27, 2002, officially renewed by an agreement dated October 2, 2002, and extended by the amendment of May 4, 2005, and by the agreement dated October 6, 2005, and by this agreement which takes into account the measures of the new European Directive n° 2009/38 dated May 6, 2009, which will be used as a reference in case of difficulties in interpretation.
