The Plan of Action indicates that Governments will continue to examine ways to develop consistent regulatory approaches among member countries, leading to the promotion of greater commonality in the certification processes for telecommunications equipment; and, that Governments will work towards the establishment of a framework and to move toward the negotiation and implementation of a Mutual Recognition Agreement for telecommunications equipment encompassing all the countries of the Region.
