The Company will deduct from the wages of every employee the bargaining unit, an amount equal to the monthly dues as prescribed by the constitution of the Union and shall transfer such monies to the Union Office monthly, not later than the fifteenth day of the month following the month for which such deduction is made. The Union shall supply the necessary forms to the company to facilitate the said check-off. The Union agrees to indemnify the company and hold it harmless against any and all claims, which may arise in complying with the provisions of this Article.

The Company recognizes the Union as the exclusive bargaining agent of all employees of Inc. in Metropolitan Toronto, Ontario, save and except supervisors, persons above the rank of supervisor, office and sales staff, designers, persons employed for not more than twenty-four (24) hours per week and students employed during the school vacation period.
