This document describes the algorithm used to generate surface reflectance and aerosol optical thick- ness products from PROBA-V observations. This algorithm relies on a joint retrieval of surface reflectance and aerosol optical thickness based on the inversion of a coupled surface-atmosphere ra- diative transfer model.
