KBB was incorporated in Malaysia as Junhub Enterprise Sdn Bhd on 23 November 2004 with Tai Poh Yak and Tai Peck Guan(1) being the original directors and shareholders of KBB. On 8 November 2005, Junhub Enterprise Sdn Bhd entered into an agreement(2) with R.S.Y. Sdn Bhd, a rice vermicelli and laksa noodle manufacturer, to acquire 9 parcels of freehold land together with a factory building and 4 units of semi-detached houses in Kepala Batas, North Seberang Perai (Pulau Pinang); a shophouse in Kulim(3) (Kedah) and a shophouse in Ipoh(3) (Perak), to venture into the noodle manufacturing business. On 9 January 2006, KBB increased its share capital from RM2 to RM1,500,002 comprising 1,500,002 KBB Shares and on 1 June 2006, Junhub Enterprise Sdn Bhd changed its name to Kepala Batas Bihun Sdn Bhd and commenced manufacturing and trading of rice vermicelli, laksa noodles and rice flour.
