Under Section 504, Subpart E Postsecondary Education, of the 1973 Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act and its amendments, institutions of higher education must provide reasonable accommodations to a student with a documented disability and may not deny equal access to the institution's programs, courses, and activities. It has been determined that audio-recording lectures constitutes a reasonable accommodation for the student and in the course listed below.
