The purpose of this Information Exchange Agreement (IEA) (Agreement) is to establish the terms, conditions, safeguards, and procedures under which the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will disclose information to the undersigned issuer of one or more qualified health plans (QHP) through a State-based Marketplaces (SBM) Issuer as authorized under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (Public Law 111-148) as amended by the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act (Public Law 111-152) and referred to collectively as the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
