Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and the Virginia Community College System (VCCS), recognizing the need to facilitate the admission of transfer students from Virginia's community colleges to VCU as they pursue a baccalaureate degree in nursing, resolve to adopt a Guaranteed Admission Agreement (GAA). This agreement provides a pathway for students to progress from the Associate of Applied Science in Nursing degree directly to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BS Completion Program) at VCU. VCCS students who do not meet the eligibility terms described herein may still apply and will be considered for admission, although admission is not guaranteed. This agreement supersedes and replaces the articulation agreements with Reynolds Community College, signed on August 25, 2008 and John Tyler Community College, signed on March 29, 2013.
