This Agreement is made, and entered into this the 1st day of July 2013, by and between the COUNTY of DURHAM, a political subdivision of the State of North Carolina, (hereinafter referred to as "COUNTY"), the SHERIFF OF DURHAM COUNTY, a constitutional officer of the State of North Carolina, (hereinafter referred to as “SHERIFF”) and ANIMAL PROTECTION SOCIETY OF DURHAM, INC., a North Carolina non-profit corporation (hereinafter referred to as "APS").
