This Interconnection Agreement (this “Agreement”), under Sections 251 and 252 of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 (the “Act”), is effective as of the 18th day of January, 2000 (the “Effective Date”), by and between New England Telephone and Telegraph Company, d/b/a Bell Atlantic – Rhode Island (“BA”), a New York corporation with offices at 185 Franklin Street, Boston, Massachusetts, 02110, and Telergy Network Services, Inc. (“Telergy”), a New York corporation with offices at One Telergy Parkway, East Syracuse, New York 13057 (each, a “Party” and, collectively, the “Parties”).
