In consideration for Sam Houston State University’s (“SHSU”) allowing me to enroll in the above-listed course which has been designated as an ACE course (“the Course”), I hereby acknowledge that my enrollment in the Course and participation in the Community Service associated with the Course has immense value to me, including but not limited to the opportunity to gain experience and great personal fulfillment that comes from service, while contributing to the quality of life of the city or region in which I live. I (for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators) hereby release, hold harmless, discharge, and otherwise agree to indemnify Sam Houston State University (SHSU), the Texas State University System, their regents, employees, agents, and volunteers (“the Released Parties”) from and for any claims, demands, liability, lawsuits, injuries (including death), property damage, attorney’s fees, expenses, costs, causes of action, judgments, or awards of any kind or character (“Loss”
