The Mines Department, Government of Rajasthan granted mining lease in favour of Rajasthan State Mines & Minerals Limited for an area of 336.18 hectare Near Village Jakharda, Tehsil Guda Malani, District Barmer vide order no. P.15(7)khan/group-1/94,datd 20.07.2007 for period of 20 years from the date of mining lease agreement registration i.e. 11.09.2007. The mining lease is valid up to 10.07.2027. No renewal of mining lease is required. Mines have not been operated since it sanction, as commencement of mining operation required environment clearance. The monitoring and certified copy of monitoring report is not possible as mines is not in operation since the date of grant of mining lease i.e. 11.09.2007.
